The American Business Council Kuwait (ABCK) held their Back to Business networking event at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa on 17 September. In attendance was the US Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Lawrence Silverman, and over 100 guests from the US Embassy and ABCK community.

The eldest son of Kuwait’s ruler said the OPEC member is revisiting plans to transform itself into a regional business hub. Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said in an interview the focus will be on northern regions, where developments could serve neighbouring Iraq as it seeks to recover from conflict, and even Iran.
